1. Do I need a boat licence to rent a boat?

No. Our Compass 150cc, Compass 160cc, Compass 168pro and Selva 5.9 boats can be rented and driven without a boat licence. Yolo Grand is a private cruise boat and always includes a captain.
 

2. Do I need previous boating experience?

No previous boating experience is required for our no-licence boats. Before departure, our team provides a clear briefing and explains how to operate the boat, follow the route and navigate safely.

3. Are the boats easy to drive?

Yes. Our boats are designed to be stable, reliable and easy to operate. We explain everything before you leave and make sure you feel comfortable with the controls.
 

4. How many people can each boat carry?

The Compass 150cc carries up to 5 people, the Compass 160cc up to 6, the Compass 168pro up to 7 and the Selva 5.9 up to 8. Yolo Grand accommodates up to 15 people with a captain included.
 

5. Which boat is best for a couple or small family?

The Compass 150cc is a compact and comfortable choice for couples and small families of up to 5 people.
 

6. Which boat is suitable for a larger family or group?

The Compass 160cc accommodates up to 6 people, while the Compass 168pro offers additional space for up to 7. The Selva 5.9 is our most spacious self-drive option and accommodates up to 8 people.
 

7. What is Yolo Grand?

Yolo Grand is an authentic Greek wooden boat for private daily and sunset cruises. It accommodates up to 15 people and includes an experienced captain.

8. Where can I see the boat rental prices?

Seasonal prices for every boat are available on our Prices page. Prices for the Compass and Selva boats are per day, while Yolo Grand is priced per cruise.
 

9. Is fuel included in the rental price?

No. Fuel is charged separately according to the amount actually used during your trip. Fuel consumption depends on the boat, route, speed and sea conditions.

10. What is included with the boat rental?

Every rental includes a full briefing, required safety equipment, life jackets, third-party liability insurance, a satellite GPS tracker and an onboard QR route map. The boats also include useful equipment such as an icebox or cooler, sundeck, swim ladder and charging or audio connections, depending on the boat.

11. Is insurance included?

Third-party liability insurance is included with the rental. Our team can explain the applicable rental terms and your responsibilities before departure.
 

12. How can I request a booking?

You can request a booking through WhatsApp, telephone, email or the contact form on our Book Now page. Our team will check availability, help you choose the right boat and confirm your booking.
 

13. Is a booking request confirmed immediately?

No. Sending a form or message is a booking request. Your booking is confirmed after our team checks availability and contacts you.
 

14. Can I book at the last minute?

Last-minute bookings may be possible when boats are available. During the high season, we recommend contacting us as early as possible.
 

15. Can you help me choose the right boat?

Yes. Tell us your group size, preferred date and what kind of day you are planning. We will recommend the most suitable boat or private cruise.
 

16. What should I do if I need to change or cancel my booking?

Contact us as soon as possible by phone or WhatsApp. Changes and cancellations are handled according to the booking terms, availability and operational conditions.
 

17. What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

Boat departures depend on safe weather and sea conditions. If conditions may affect your trip, contact our team for the latest information and available options.

18. Where can I go with the boat?

Popular destinations include Diaporos Island, the Blue Lagoon and the beaches and small islands around Vourvourou. Before departure, we explain the recommended routes and areas to avoid.
 

19. Will I receive a map of the area?

Yes. An onboard QR code opens a map showing safe routes, nearby islands, beaches and recommended swimming stops.
 

20. What happens if I get lost or need assistance?

Every boat carries a satellite GPS tracker, allowing our team to know its location. If you need assistance during your trip, contact us immediately. Our team can respond quickly and come to help when required.
 

21. What safety equipment is provided?

Every boat includes the required safety kit and life jackets. We also provide a complete safety briefing before departure.
 

22. Are the boats suitable for children?

Yes. Families with children regularly use our boats. Life jackets are provided, and our team will help you choose a boat with suitable space and capacity for your family.

23. Where is Yolo Rent a Boat located?

We operate from two seafront bases in the centre of Vourvourou, directly in front of the beach and along the main road through the village.
 

24. Is free parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available for customers at our bases.
 

25. Are toilets and showers available?

Yes. Our bases provide toilets and showers for customers, making it easier to prepare before departure and freshen up after returning.
 

26. What should I bring for my boat day?

We recommend bringing swimwear, towels, sunscreen, hats, drinking water and anything else you may need for a comfortable day at sea.
